The Golden Age Portraits Experience: What to Expect

Warm, simple, and stress‑free. I photograph residents with soft natural window light on a simple black Golden Age backdrop. It’s just me (Aileen) — I handle setup, guidance, and delivery end‑to‑end.

1) Plan & ScheduleWe coordinate with your activities director to choose a date and a quiet room near a large window. A simple sign‑up sheet organizes 10–20 residents in comfortable 5–15 minute slots.
2) Portrait DayI set the simple black backdrop by the window and guide each resident with gentle, friendly direction. No flashes, cords, or outlets — just flattering window light.
3) Same‑Day SelectionRight after each session, residents or families review proofs on my laptop and choose a favorite on the spot. If someone can’t decide, I’ll provide a quick online link afterward.
4) Editing & DeliveryEach portrait is carefully retouched for a natural, polished look, and provided in both color and timeless black & white. Digital portraits are delivered via a private online gallery. Prints and optional video add‑ons are delivered within 2–3 weeks.

Optional Add‑On: 🎥 Legacy Video Interview

With the resident’s consent, add a short, heartfelt video recorded at the same setup. Edited into a 2–5 minute digital keepsake for families.

Add‑on pricing appears on our Packages & Pricing section.
