Honoring the Golden Age with portraits that feel timeless.

I create elegant, professional portraits for retirement communities — images that preserve presence, dignity, and the kind of love families want to hold onto forever.

Fourteen years ago, I was the photographer for a site I co-founded called NorCal Country, where I photographed country music concerts across Northern California. What started with press passes soon grew into friends and family asking me to capture their portraits and weddings.

Over the years, I built a dedicated studio and became known for my work as a family and newborn photographer. Those seasons taught me how to create a calm, comfortable experience — and how to capture images that feel intimate and timeless. That foundation is still at the heart of my work today.

Today, my deepest passion is honoring the beauty, wisdom, and presence of our elders. Through a connection at a Veteran’s Home, I began photographing residents in retirement communities — and the response was incredible. Families cherished having meaningful portraits of their loved ones — images that capture their light and legacy in a way that will be remembered for generations.

The seed for this work was planted long ago. My mom served at our local church for more than 30 years and often organized funerals. She noticed how many families didn’t have meaningful portraits of their loved ones to display — only snapshots or outdated pictures. She once told me, half-joking but completely serious: “You should go into retirement communities and offer picture days, like school portraits for seniors.” At the time, I laughed — but she was right.

“My calling is to create portraits that feel like a warm hand to hold — images that honor a lifetime of love, grit, and grace.”

Our Mission

Honoring the Golden Years

At Golden Age Portraits, our mission is to honor and celebrate the lives, stories, and presence of our elders. We believe every person deserves to be remembered with dignity and beauty — through portraits that capture not just a face, but a lifetime of love, wisdom, and legacy.

Every wrinkle tells a story, and every portrait preserves a legacy.
