I’ve spent over 14 years behind the camera, specializing in family and newborn photography. Those years taught me how to create a calm, comfortable experience and how to capture images that feel intimate, honest, and timeless.
Over time, I felt called to something deeper — creating portraits that honor legacy, presence, and the lives that shaped us.
Today, my deepest passion is honoring the beauty, wisdom, and presence of our elders. Through retirement communities and senior living spaces, I saw just how meaningful these portraits become — not only for the person being photographed, but for the families who will treasure them for years to come.
This work is deeply personal to me.
My mom served at our local church for more than 30 years and often helped organize funerals. She noticed something heartbreaking: many families didn’t have a recent portrait that truly captured their loved one — only snapshots, outdated photos, or nothing that felt like them.
She once told me, half-joking but completely serious, “You should go into retirement communities and offer picture days, like school portraits for seniors.” At the time, I laughed. But she was right.
That idea stayed with me. Because one day, these photos become everything.
