What packages do you offer and how much are they?
We offer three simple options: Classic ($30) — 1 retouched digital portrait; Heritage ($75) — 3 digitals + one archival 8×10 print; Generations ($200) — family session + 10 digitals + (3) 5×7 gift prints. Add a Legacy Video Interview for $100.
Do you bring lighting and a studio?
I photograph with soft natural window light on my simple black Golden Age backdrop. No flashes, cords, or outlets — comfortable for residents and easy for facilities.
How long is each session?
Most sessions take 5–15 minutes. I guide posing and expression so residents feel relaxed and look their best.
Can families be in the photos?
Yes. The Generations package includes family (spouse, children, or grandchildren). For Classic/Heritage, we focus on the resident’s individual portrait.
How are photos edited and delivered?
Each portrait is carefully retouched for a natural, polished look and provided in both color and timeless black & white. Digital portraits are delivered via a private online gallery. Prints and optional video add‑ons are delivered within 2–3 weeks.
How does scheduling work with the community?
We coordinate with the activities director to choose a room with a large window and create a simple sign‑up sheet for 10–20 residents in comfortable time slots.
Can residents choose their favorite photo the same day?
Yes — we review proofs on my laptop immediately after each session for same‑day selection. If someone needs more time, I’ll share a quick online link afterward.
What is the Legacy Video Interview add‑on?
An optional 2–5 minute video recorded at the same setup, with the resident answering a few gentle, optional prompts. It’s edited and delivered digitally alongside the photos.
