Black and white photo of an elderly woman and man smiling, the woman wearing glasses and the man leaning towards her, with the text 'Timeless Portraits. Lasting Legacies.' beside them.

These portraits aren’t just for today — they’re for the people who will miss them someday.

Why This Work Matters

This work is deeply personal to me.

After losing both my mom & dad, I realized how quickly photographs shift from something we take for granted to something we hold onto.

Too often, families don’t realize how few beautiful, recent portraits they have of someone they love — until it’s too late.

Meet the Photographer

Hi, I’m Aileen.

I’ve been a professional photographer for over a decade, but my connection to this work began much earlier—back in a high school darkroom, where I first learned the power of preserving real moments. Since then, my career has been shaped by curiosity, self-teaching, and a desire to photograph what matters most.

While I spent many years photographing families and newborns, I’ve always felt deeply connected to older adults. I studied psychology in college and completed extensive coursework in gerontology, and I’ve spent much of my life working alongside seniors through community, volunteer, and professional experiences.

Golden Age Portraits is the natural result of that lifelong connection. I created it to ensure this stage of life is honored with intention, dignity, and care—capturing people exactly as they are during their golden years.

“If you have a senior loved one, I highly suggest reaching out to Aileen Savage of Golden Age Portraits and booking a personal portrait session. She has such a gift for capturing the beauty, wisdom, and personality of every senior she photographs. Her work isn’t just pictures — it’s storytelling at its finest. Truly amazing at what she does. Thank you, Aileen.”
